Hello readers, and first and foremost a big thank you for viewing the Sporting Rundown blog.
I am currently a Sports Journalism student at the London College of Communication, and have been since September 2011. I am also a published journalist with my work appearing in the Daily Mail.
Sport has been a passion of mine since I was a young boy, fuelling my desire to combine my first love with my other loves, writing and talking. Journalism itself fascinates me. As of 2013 times are changing in the field, with social media taking a huge amount of importance in the work of many leading journalists. Digital and online journalism have also never been bigger, and I am excited to be a part of what I think is an industry changing for the better and adapting to thrive in the modern age.
I also play sport regularly, most significantly american football with the Colchester Gladiators, who are currently the National League Champions with an undefeated 13-0 season. My Welsh heritage means I also pay a lot of attention to rugby, particularly in Wales, something I am extremely proud of.
